Subi Vidya Foundation (SVF) is a charitable non-profit institution dedicated to creating a positive impact in communities by raising awareness of our ancient wisdom and bridging it to promote knowledge for better quality of living.
Our Vision
We envision a world with greater opportunities for personal growth and well-being. We visualize a future where poverty and distress are significantly reduced, water and energy are more accessible, and the effects of climate change are effectively addressed.
Our Program Areas
In our programs, we integrate ancient wisdom with modern experiences to help easy understanding and provide lessons for betterment. We conduct online programs mostly in English to benefit people in different locations. We do not charge any fees for participation but welcome voluntary donations. Our first program titled “Timeless Wisdom: Lessons from the Ancient to Modern Environmental Protection” was successfully conducted on January 19, 2025.

Our Executive Team
Mr. S. Subramanian, Founder and Chairman
Sundaresan (“Subi”) Subramanian is an accomplished technical and management professional, speaker, writer, and trainer, with a distinguished career in multinational corporations and U.S. Government Agencies. He has an array of international work experiences and has contributed extensively to address global energy and environmental issues. In addition, he has taught ancient Sanskrit scriptures to global audiences and authored several books. He has trained thousands of professionals and enthusiasts worldwide, sharing his expertise and vision for a sustainable future.
Mrs. Vidya Subramanian, Executive Team
Smt. Vidya Subramanian is an accomplished musician with creative and artistic skills. She is conversant with many of the ancient scriptures in Sanskrit and Tamil. She loves nature and has taught Carnatic music to hundreds of students around the globe.
Prof. V. Sumitra Devi, Executive Team
A practicing Architect and Town planner with more than two decades of experience and a professor in a leading college in Chennai. She is deeply interested in environmental matters relating to sustainability, revitalizing water bodies, wastewater and solid waste treatment practices to reduce carbon footprint.

Dr. Balasankari Krishnan
Dr. Balasankari has been working for many years in the field of climate change, renewable energy and energy efficiency. As an international consultant, Dr. Bala worked with leading global organizations including The World Bank, ADB, UNIDO, UNDP, UNFCCC, MNCs, various country governments, and the private sector. She has travelled extensively to various countries in Asia, Africa and USA to carryout various activities such as designing numerous country level (Burundi, Cambodia, Congo, Kenya, Laos, Myanmar, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, etc.) energy-related programs, providing expert advice, conducting training workshops, and guiding national consultants and project participants.
She is currently the Chief Executive Officer, Renewable Cogen Globe-EECC, a leading international consulting company specialized in renewable energy, environment and climate change.
Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Isaac
A distinguished academician and water resource management expert with four decades of experience in teaching, research, and administration. He has a unique blend of expertise in natural resource system design, quality education systems, and technology development, making him a key contributor to both academic and field-based interventions in sustainable development.He has authored over 170 research papers in national and international journals. He has delivered keynote speeches, plenary addresses and research presentations in India, Australia, UK, France, Russia, Turkey, and the Philippines
Currently, he serves as a Professor in the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering at SHUATS, Prayagraj.
We aim to empower communities to care for nature through education, training, community entrepreneurship, environmental initiatives, and sustainable living practices. Our slogan is ‘Nurture Nature.’
